Raunaque Perween is a journalist cum social worker and founding member of The Citizen Post. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication and Journalism from Maulana Azad National Urdu University and a Master’s in Social Work from Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, combining her journalism skills with a deep understanding of social issues.

She completed a fellowship with the LedBy Foundation. As CEO and Editor-in-Chief, Raunaque defines Citizen Post’s vision and editorial policies, leads strategic direction, oversees all editorial content, and makes key decisions to uphold the publication’s integrity and quality.
Sabnawaz Ahmad is the COO and Managing Editor of The Citizen Post, where he oversees daily newsroom operations, coordinates editorial workflows, and ensures deadlines are met while upholding high journalistic standards. As a founding member of the platform, he plays a key role in shaping its mission and growth. As a dedicated social activist, Sabnawaz is committed to social justice and human rights.
He has contributed as an independent journalist for platforms like Millat Times and Dainik Jagran. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication and Journalism from Maulana Azad National Urdu University and a Master’s in Journalism from Jamia Millia Islamia.
Mujahidul Islam, also known as Prince, is a founding member of The Citizen Post and serves as a Video/Multimedia Producer. He has extensive experience in content creation, video production, and editing for platforms like YouTube and television, having worked with notable media institutions such as News 18 and Dainik Bhaskar. Currently collaborating with senior journalist Ravish Kumar, Prince focuses on producing and optimizing video content that engages and informs audiences. He holds a

Shoaibur Rahman is a passionate video journalist and founding member of The Citizen Post. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from (MANUU), Hyderabad, and a PG Diploma in Journalism from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), New Delhi. He is currently pursuing an M.A. in Convergent Journalism at AJK Mass Communication Research Centre, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI).
Shoaib has previously interned at India’s leading media outlets such as News18 and ITV Network/India News. At The Citizen Post, he serves as the Digital Editor, where he oversees digital content strategy and engages in optimizing online presence. He also works as a news copy editor, ensuring content accuracy and quality, while contributing as a photojournalist and assistant graphics designer.
